GRiP would like to draw your attention to an article appeared on The Lancet in May this year, which paints an interesting picture of the drug industry today. In the article, titled "Skies darken over drug companies", David Holmes argues that patent expirations, poor development pipelines and pressures on drug pricing are hitting the industry to the point that it may finally lose its reputation as a recession-proof business.
